Tracy Bell

Oil, Mixed Media, Acrylic, Photography

Tracy Bell is a mid-career visual artist based in Taos, working in painting and mixed media to explore themes of presence, memory, and human connection. A graduate of the University of New Mexico (BFA, 2021), Bell has exhibited widely across the Southwest and beyond, including in Taos, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Silver City, Abiquiú, and Norfolk.

Her work has been featured in numerous juried and invitational exhibitions, including multiple appearances at the Harwood Museum of Art as part of its 100-Year Celebration. Bell’s practice is rooted in observation and intuition, creating work that feels both grounded and emotionally resonant.

In addition to her studio practice, Bell is an active contributor to the arts community. In 2024, she founded the Taos Artisans Guild, an artist-led collective focused on collaboration, visibility, and mutual support. She serves on the steering committee for the Taos Studio Tour and has acted as a juror for the Taos Wrap Project. Her work has also been included in public art initiatives such as the Taos Lamp Post Banner Project.

Through both her artwork and leadership, Bell remains deeply engaged in supporting and shaping the evolving creative landscape of Northern New Mexico.
