Coral Ann Cunnyngham

Ceramic and Fused Glass

Broken Landscape

“Life is worth creating for, and I live to create—its really that simple.” Coral Ann says. “I feel deeply honored to share my work, knowing these pieces may outlive me by centuries. My goal is to leave behind beauty and to transform energy, emotion, and experience into lasting art. I want to inspire others to let their creativity shine. Expressing ourselves fully, without concern for the opinions of others, is one of the most heart-centered traditions we have as human beings.”

Raised in the Virgin Islands and the rugged peaks of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, Coral Ann has always drawn her deepest inspiration from the natural world. Today she finds Taos, New Mexico, to be her most inspirational home yet, deeply moved by the mystery waiting around every corner and the raw beauty that emanates from the valley. As a second-generation artist raised by an endlessly inspiring mother—a ceramicist, weaver, and fused -glass artisan. Coral Ann was encouraged from childhood to explore the world through tactile creation. Art became her lifelong anchor, guiding her through both her brightest and most challenging moments.

After refining her craft under the mentorship of numerous renowned potters during and after college, Coral discovered her true artistic calling: transforming raw clay into expressions of devotion to the earth's beauty. Her portfolio spans traditional functional pottery— including mugs, coffee pour overs, cheese trays, garlic plates, and wall pockets—as well as non-traditional, expressive pieces that celebrate the unrefined, raw nature of the clay.

As a celebration of this creative shift, Coral is currently showcasing a large, final collection of her handmade fused-glass art. Because she will no longer be creating glasswork moving forward, this exhibition represents a rare opportunity for collectors to acquire a piece of her past work before they are gone forever.
