Tracy Bell is a visual artist based in Taos, New Mexico, originally from the Midwest. She moved to Taos in 2006 and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art in 2021 from UNM. With a lifelong creative spirit, Bell brings a vibrant, intuitive energy to her work.

Her paintings—rendered in acrylic or oil, depending on the piece and the process—are characterized by vivid color and a willingness to explore new styles. Though her themes shift from one piece to the next, her work consistently reflects a deep appreciation for texture, character, and visual storytelling. Bell often photographs moments from her travels or daily life that move her emotionally or aesthetically, later using these images as starting points for her compositions. Rather than imposing a set structure, she allows each painting to guide its own evolution. The result is a body of work that is diverse, expressive, and rich with the spirit of discovery.
