Archival Limited Edition Collage Photography

Having attended Rochester Institute of Technology as a Fine Art Major, I learned to compose the finished image in the camera’s view finder. The images you see are a visual journal of what drew me to pause, appreciate and capture the sometimes fleeting moment. When there was no more money to attend college, I went to New York city and continued my education in the fashion world with the professional photographers I worked with.

Sunny Redmond of Taos, New Mexico, passed away on November 25, 2025, at the age of 74. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Robert Redmond, and by her daughter, Halley Jacobs. She is survived by her daughter, Wesley Jacobs; her brother, Roy Redmond, and his wife, Betty Redmond. Sunny lived a life filled with courage, creativity, and compassion. As a brave teenager, she left home to pursue a career in fashion modeling in New York City. She later became a guide in the Grand Canyon, an artist whose collages and photographs were exhibited in numerous galleries, a holistic practitioner and grief counselor, and a devoted caretaker to anyone or anything in need. She was an eternal student and, at the same time, a teacher to everyone she met-wise, deeply spiritual, and capable of creating magic at every turn. After raising her two daughters in Aspen, Colorado, Sunny found her forever home in Taos in 2007. She will be dearly missed by her daughter and by the community she embraced as family. Her spirit will continue to shine through all who knew her. Creativity is as essential to me as breath. From an early age, a camera has been in my hands, and I would eagerly wait by my mailbox for my black and white brownie box camera prints to arrive. After much exploration, the mediums which have stayed with me are photography and Collage.
