Hannah (Annie) Furie paints in Taos, NM. Her medium is oil and cold wax. She is known for her use of vibrant color in her landscapes. She paints plein air and in her studio. " I paint for people who wish to be surrounded by color and joy. I take my inspiration from the beauty of the natural world. I love to share this vision through my paintings". Her Northern New Mexico landscapes are filled with a love of the land and of the beauty we are blessed to be part of each day.

Hannah has been a student of art since the age of 5. As a young child she set up a small basement studio in her parents’ home. In her younger years she studied at the Art Institute of Chicago. As a young adult she studied Fine Art at University of California, Berkeley. She currently shows at the Taos Artist Collective just off the Plaza, in Taos, NM. She is a life long student of art and enjoys being a Creative and experimenting in all types of visual art.
