Young Bison

"BIG SKY AND OPEN ROAD" is the mantra of traveling artist and roadside photographer, S'zanne Reynolds. Her impressionistic and bold creations draw upon her travels of the untamed Wild West. Each painting is a story of a prayer of the beauty and grace along life's adventure.

With a BA in Studio Art from Principia College and post graduate studies in France, she discovered her love of travel in her painting explorations across Europe. Upon returning to the States, she completed a BFA in Communications from Texas Christian University, and embarked on a 15 year career in the advertising and publishing industries with companies like SicolaMartin, GSD&M and Harcourt.

In 2003 Reynolds returned to her first love of fine art and photography, studying under present-day masters. Reynolds' artwork enjoys a growing audience stateside and abroad. With over a decade of teaching experience, S'zanne has served as faculty at the Contemporary Austin Museum Art School; she continues to offer art parties, classes and events today.

Originally from Richmond, VA she has lived in Texas, Montana and Florida. For the last 7 years she's been proud to call the lovely community of Taos, New Mexico home where she continues to enjoy backroad painting adventures.

S'zanne looks forward to seeing you at her studio soon! Call for an appointment or stop by during the 2026 Taos Studio Tour, September 5-6-7, 10am-5pm.
